Volunteer Process: How do I become a Volunteer?

We view our volunteers as an extention of our staff. Because of this, we ask volunteers to go through a process similar to that of new employees. We ask that you complete an application, which includes references, complete a background check, and go through an orientation process. The information needed is provided below.

Download the Volunteer Application and Background Request

2. Complete & return these forms via fax (816.361.8333) or mail (PO Box 10145, Kansas City, MO 64171). On the Background Request Form, leave "Section C" blank. Include a very clear, legible copy of your social security card so we can complete your background check.

3. Once your forms are received, you will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator for an orientation.
